From this year, the NSI MCQ Quiz format has been changed. It will be henceforth known as NSI-BRAINBUZZ.

 

NSI-BRAINBUZZ will be an interactive and thrilling Quiz Competition for M.Ch / DNB Postgraduate Neurosurgery students which will comprise of two online rounds followed by the final round during the Annual Meeting in December (NSICON)

 

This quiz will comprise wide range of clinical case scenarios, videos and interesting puzzles on Neurosurgery & much more.

The students can participate in the online quiz by logging on to NSICON Website (www.neurosocietyindia.org) and by following the NSI-BRAINBUZZ link displayed on the homepage. Upon registration students will receive User ID & Password.

 

All teaching neurosurgery departments across the country will be divided into two zones

 

ZONE A

 

• West Zone: Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Goa and Chhattisgarh

• North Zone: New Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Uttrakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, UP

 

ZONE B

 

• South Zone: Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu

• East Zone: West Bengal, Assam, Orissa, Bihar, Jharkhand and Manipur

 

The quiz will comprise of three Rounds:

 

1.      First Online Round: First online round will start from 9:00 am, Wednesday, May 22, 2019 till 11:00 pm, Sunday, May 26, 2019

 

2.      Second Online Round: Second online round will start from 9:00 am, Thursday, Sept. 5, 2019 till 11:00 pm, Thursday, Sept. 12, 2019

 

3.      Finale @ NSICON 2019, Mumbai

 

The final round for which 8 best students (4 Best Students from Zone A & Zone B of the country) will be selected from the online rounds (Best of the two scores will be considered for qualifying to final round)
